The Silver City MainStreet and the Town of Silver City sponsors the 32nd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 26th at 7pm. The deadline for entry applications is Monday, November 14th. Entry Forms and rules for parade entries can be picked up at and turned in at the MainStreet office at 201 North Hudson Street.
The Deming Luna County MainStreet Program sponsors the Lighted Parade will be held on December 3rd. Registration forms for the parade as well as for the Christmas Market are located inside the Deming Visitor Center at 800 East Pine Street, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Western New Mexico University’s School of Nursing has been Re-Accredited! The nursing program has gone through the accreditation process by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Both tracks of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program can continue to operate for another 10 years running a fully accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
