Last year was very busy for The Youths Mural Program in Silver City as students painted Murals all over Grant County and surrounding areas. Murals were painted at Penny Park, Downtown Silver City, The Bayard Public Library, Skate Park, Aldo Leopold Vista and CP Anderson. They also gained 2 new college interns and had the opportunity to work with students from Cobre, San Lorenzo and the Youth Conservation Corps. This year they plan on painting a mural on the campus of Western New Mexico University at the Western Institute of Lifelong Learning (WILL), which will give students the opportunity to work with WILL members.
