The New Mexico Department of Health announced yesterday during a public health update that 70% of New Mexicans 18 years and older have completed their COVID-19 vaccination series. It was urged that residents can still register and self-schedule their vaccinations by visiting goodtimes.vaccinenm.org and still receive $100 as in an incentive until August 31st. In addition, New Mexicans who have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with a positive case are encouraged to get tested, including Vault at-home tests that are delivered to the home at no cost. The test is ordered online and delivered via expedited shipping. After logging on for a virtual visit with a Vault test supervisor, individuals will collect their saliva sample, and ship the sample using a prepaid UPS package. Tests results are received within 24 to 48 hours after the sample arrives at the lab.
