PNM has rolled out a New Electronic Vehicle Program as their Transportation Electrification (TEP) program gains traction, according to a recent news release. The TEP is designed to assist residential and commercial customers to overcome barriers to adopting electric vehicles. The TEP can help residential and income qualified customers get $500 back on in the purchase of a qualified Level 2 home charger, in addition to receiving up to $2,000 in additional funds to cover EV charger installation costs. Signing up for the residential charger rebate enrolls customers in the Whole Home EV rate, allowing customers to charge overnight for approximately $3 for a full charge. In addition, the commercial program features several rebates as incentives. More information for Residential, Limited Income Qualified, and Commercial PNM TEP programs is available online at PNM.com/EVMarket.
