Grant County is seeking applications for GRMC Board of Trustees. This board will consist of seven community members, each serving a three year term. Deadline for applications is March 1st.
WNMU is now ranked top in online MBA programs for 2023 according to Online Master’s Degrees. This was based on the program’s overall quality, affordability and commitment to student success as compared to more than 7,000 other accredited programs from throughout the nation. The ranking also credited the university’s work to ensure costs remain low for WNMU students.
Attention photographers–The Gila National Forest is hosting a photo contest. They are looking for high quality photos that capture unique landscapes and the people who live, work, and enjoy the forest. In Deming news, this evening the Deming City Council will be considering an ordinance to permit off-highway vehicle use on city roads. Currently state law does not permit off-highway vehicles on state roads. This impacts Country Club Road, Florida Street, 8th Street, and Pine Street. The ordinance would allow OHVs to cross streets or highways and don’t exceed 45 miles per hour and occurs between the hours of 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.
