The Pick It Up –Toss No Mas event organizers would like to thank the volunteers who helped collect 1,360 pounds of trash and debris during last month’s ‘Spring Cleaning’ Cleanup. Appreciation is also extended to the Copper Country Dumpsters who helped collect large broken appliances and household items. Since October 2021, over 470 volunteers have collected 12,792 pounds of trash, debris, and recyclables in Grant County. Monthly Pick It Up – events are held the third Saturday of every month. Community members can also adopt a roadway or waterway to take care of and clean up throughout the year. Alternatively, the public is encouraged to organize their own cleanup, and Pick It Up – Toss No Mas will supply the trash pickers, trash bags and gloves for your event. Check out the new Pick It Up-Toss No Mas website.
