Don’t Be a Scaredy Cat! There’s plenty of chills and thrills this Halloween for the Entire Family! “Carve out Some Great Times” with these following community events on Tuesday, October 31st:
Children are invited to come in their Halloween costumes to a special Halloween story time and trick-or-treat in the Silver City Public Library from 10:30-11:30a.m! Story times are designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. This event is free, no registration necessary. Oct 31st
Dr. Rhonda Bedford, located at 900 N. Hudson Street will host a Halloween Trunk or Treat in the staff parking lot from 4-6:00 p.m. Neighboring businesses will also be participating in this “fang-tastic” family event. Don’t forget to visit the W&N Enterprise’s “mini haunted trailer”. This event is free and open to the public.
“Make no bones about it”, Gila Regional Medical Center is holding a “Halloween Trunk or Treat Bash” from 4-7 p.m. in the hospital parking lot. Bring the little goblins for “Spooktacular” Fun, Games, and Giveaways for everyone, free of charge!
The Village of Santa Clara will be hosting a Trunk or Treat from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m at the Santa Clara City Hall located 105 North Bayard Street. The public is invited to participate by decorating their vehicles and providing candy to share with the children. There will also be a “Kids Costume Parade” with three trophies to be awarded for kids 10 years and under. After the Trunk or Treat, “get your scare on” and bring your little “Halloweenies” to the Santa Clara Armory for a Haunted House and Halloween Carnival from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are just $1. City Cuts Barber Shop, located at 1780 Highway 180 East, will be hosting a FREE “hair raising” Halloween Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. “Hang Around for a Spell” because there will be plenty of fun activities for the kids, featuring a cupcake walk and games, all free of charge.
Harvest Church, located at 1500 N. Hudson Street is hosting a “Light the Night” family event that is free for everyone. There will be games, prizes, candy, and a cake walk from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m! Bring down the entire family and share fun and fellowship.
In Deming, there will be a “Halloween Trunk or Treat” event on Tuesday, October 31st, starting at 5:45 p.m. at the 9th Street Church of Christ, located at 500 South 9th Street in Deming. There will be food and games for everyone! Call 575-546-2175 for additional information.
