The Grant County Community Concert Association is pleased to present Jesse Lynch’s Jazz 101 on January 24th, 2014. Jesse Lynch, a pianist, composer, arranger, improviser, and educator, has toured widely throughout the United States. He accompanied the Singing Policeman, Daniel Rodriguez, in his SilverCity concert in 2010, and received an enthusiastic audience response to the solo pieces he played. The concert will feature the Jesse Lynch Jazz trio playing jazz standards of the 20th Century. The Trio will also present an Educational Outreach performance for students from area schools at 10:30 on the same day. The concert will be held at the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater on Friday, January 24th at 7:30 pm. Admission is $20 for adults, and $5 for students up to age 17.
