The following is a release for the Mimbres Region Arts Council:

“Captured!,” a photo show featuring nature photography, opens with a reception from 2:30 p.m. till 4:30 p.m. on January 31 at the Mimbres Region Arts Council Gallery. The show  is available for viewing  during regular office  throughout the month of February.  This  is an exhibit of  of the photography of FeVa Fotos photographers Sandy Feutz and Tom Vaughan, as well as that  of guest photographers from the Silver City Photography Club. The scope of the show includes wildlife, landscapes and more. All of the work is from local photographers, with some of it reaching into their travel both near and far.

The work of Sandy Feutz and Tom Vaughan has been shown in galleries and shows in Colorado, as well as in the local area. Their photography has also been featured in nationally distributed publications. FeVa Fotos is pleased to be joined in this show with a sampling of the work of Silver City Photo Club members Jim Mathews, John Catsis, Bruce Bloy, Walter “Ski” Szymanski, Elroy Limmer and Rod Rees. The Silver City Photo Club brings together a wide scope of talent and passion for photography. Many are skilled at advanced techniques in editing and enhancing their work. Equipment used is from top of the line to point and shoot cameras. They meet once a month to show and discuss their experiences and moments in time that they have captured with their cameras. New members are always welcomed.

The Mimbres Region Art Council Office and Gallery is located in the Wells Fargo Bank Building and is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. The public is cordially invited to stop by for the reception on Friday, January 31 and for viewing of the “Captured!” Photography Show.
