The new VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic opened for business in Silver City on May 7th, but today boasted the grand opening celebration. The ceremony included the posting of the colors, VIP introductions, and of course a ribbon cutting.
To follow the opening ceremonies, the new VA clinic held a health fair that allowed Veterans and their families to learn a little more about many of the programs they offer. They also presented a variety of Healthy Living Messages, covering everything from remaining active to managing stress.
And what does the new clinic have to offer Veterans here in Silver City? Well, qualified Veterans have access to evaluations from the talented staff, access to lab tests and blood draws, mental health services, and more.
