The Kiwanis Club of Silver City celebrated the December 2014 “Students of the Month” at a special luncheon held at the Silver City Lodge No. 8 on December 2, with the meal prepared by members of Georgetown Chapter No. 4 OES. The Kiwanis Club of Silver City’s Student of the Month Program recognizes outstanding students as well as most improved. Students are nominated by teachers, and each student receives at special certificate commemorating their achievement.
