Friday, Day 3 of The 31st edition of the Tour of the Gila, showcases the Dan Potts Memorial Tyrone Individual Time Trials. Races begin at 9:15 am and impact Highway 90, past Tyrone. Here are some road advisories: “U.C.I. Men” start on NM 90 at Tyrone, followed by the “U.C.I. Women”. Hwy 90 will be closed for the morning races, beginning at 8:45 and ending at noon. Please plan your travels accordingly. The “Women Three – Four” start the afternoon, followed by the “Men Four”, then “Master Men B”, “Master Men A”, “Men 3” followed by the “Men One – Two”. The Speed Limit will be 35 miles per hour on the 18-mile race course and will be reduced to one lane where possible. The race turns around between mile markers 29 and 30 on NM 90.
