It’s time again for the Mimbres Region Arts Council’s Pickamania! Starting this Friday night, head out to Gough Park for live music, vendors, food and more. Pickamania begins Friday at 7 pm with a Kick-Off Dance featuring the Out of Kilters. Saturday, music from Mountain Aire Folk Music, The Littlest Birds, Higher Ground, Bluegrass hoNEyhoUSe, Fishtank Ensemble, and Sarah Jarosz with special guest Aoife O’Donovan will fill the park and delight listeners. Saturday Night, Steep Ravine will entertain visitors to the Beer Garden. The fun continues on Sunday with the Lost Howlin’ Coyotes, Homemade Hoedown Kids, Steep Ravine, Run Boy Run, and the weekend finishes off with Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys from 4:15 to 5:45.
And, once again, the Arts Council will be raffling a Grand Prize Bill Bussman Old Wave Mandolin. Raffle Tickets are $5 a piece and are available online at http://mimbresarts.org/raffle/ or the MRAC office.
