Day 3 of Silver City’s Tour of the Gila, powered by SRAM, brings the Dan Potts Memorial Tyrone Individual Time Trials. Races begin at 9:30 am and impact Highway 90, past Tyrone. Here are some road advisories: “UCI Men” start on NM90 at Tyrone at 9:30 am, followed by the “Women Pro One – Two Categories.” Highway 90 will be closed for the morning races beginning at 8:45 and ending at 11:45 am. Please plan your travels accordingly. The “Women Three-Four” starts the afternoon, followed by the “Men Four,” then “Master Men B,” “Master Men A,” “Men 3” followed by the “Men One-Two.” The speed limit will be 35 miles per hour on the race course and will be reduced to one lane where possible. The race turns around between mile markers 29 and 30 on NM 90. Please yeild to racers and if you can schedule your travel on NM 90 before 8:30 am or after mid-afternoon.
