Two favored design schemes were presented using five committee-established goals focused on flexibility, efficiency, community legacy, sustainability, and long-term resilience. A key decision still under consideration is whether to renovate the existing gymnasium or to build a new one. The architects will continue refining plans based on campus observations, community input, and the committee’s preference for two versions of the “flow” scheme, one utilizing the existing gym and the other incorporating a new facility.
