During the Village of Santa Clara Regular Meeting, the Mayor provided updates on several ongoing projects within the village. Additionally, the sidewalk project is nearing completion, with students from Aldo Leopold Charter School set to plant trees as part of the initiative. The Code Enforcement Officer also reported that a ramp is set to be constructed, and some asphalt work is required to finalize the project.

Students in the WNMU School of Business have consistently outperformed their peers at other institutions, as demonstrated by the results of recent standardized testing. In recent years, WNMU students have consistently surpassed both national and regional averages. On the most recent outbound exam, WNMU students achieved an average score of 77.96% on subject matter tests, while students at other southwestern universities averaged 64.03%. WNMU students particularly excelled in economics, marketing, human resource management, and the global dimensions of business, outperforming their peers on all fourteen subject matter tests administered.
