Silver High School students recently took part in an educational experience at the Fort Bliss Ropes Course as part of the new PNM Lineman Course launched this fall. During this event, they engaged in activities that simulate real-world lineman tasks, such as working in harnesses, building teamwork skills, and conquering heights. These challenges mirrored the conditions linemen face while working on utility poles, providing students with hands-on practice in a controlled environment. The course is one of many ways Silver High School is preparing students for high-demand careers through valuable industry partnerships.

This conservation effort focuses on the L Bar H Ranch and contributes to the Greater Gila Ecoregion, an interconnected network of protected lands.
