New Mexico motorists now have a new opportunity to support wildlife research, habitat enhancement, education, and rehabilitation projects through the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish “Share with Wildlife Program.” The program, in collaboration with the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division, has introduced a Gila monster-themed license plate for purchase. Proceeds from the sales of these plates contribute to the “Share with Wildlife” initiative, which funds innovative research, habitat enhancement, and educational projects conducted by universities and non-profit organizations aimed at addressing the needs of the state’s “Species of Greatest Conservation Need.” All wildlife art license plate designs are available for purchase directly from the website.
