The Gila National Forest, Wilderness Ranger District will enforce a short-term, temporary closure of the Grapevine area and the adjacent Gila River #724 Trailhead for hazard tree removal starting today through March 14th. During this period, signage will be posted around the closure area. Access to the day-use site and the dispersed camping area along Forest Road 528 and East Fork Road will be prohibited while hazard tree removal operations are underway. It is anticipated that this work will not impact weekend visitation in the area.

The New Mexico Economic Development Department’s JEDI Office will host a free Intellectual Property workshop for businesses on March 13th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Murray Hotel in Silver City.
