The Silver and Cliff FFA chapters had an outstanding week at the New Mexico FFA State Career Development Events in Las Cruces. The Cliff FFA teams, including the Horse and Pasture and Range teams, both earned 8th place overall. The Silver FFA Horse Team secured 3rd place, with Arenna Rogers achieving 5th place individually. Additionally, the Silver FFA Landscape Design Team placed 7th, and the Milk Quality and Products Team finished in 10th place. Congratulations to all the winners. 

Fifth-grade students at Bataan Elementary School will lead a tribute to honor the sacrifices made by those involved in the Bataan Death March. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at 10 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Through their presentations, the students will emphasize the historical significance of the march and pay tribute to those who endured its hardships.

As a reminder, Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) is offering a $500 Healthcare Scholarship for students pursuing a career in healthcare.
