Virus Theater presents Romeo and Juliet, live at the El Sol Theater. A team of teens and a few adults worked diligently to make sense of the Shakespearean language and themes of the story of Romeo and Juliet. The goal was to find physical and emotional ways of expression that allows the story to speak to universal human experiences. Additionally, the team put much effort into the processes of designing and constructing the play’s sets and costumes, using and developing a charming design assortment of the Renaissance meets the 1980’s.
