This community gathering will emphasize the importance of safety and well-being for women and their families. The event will feature a panel of subject matter experts who will discuss challenges related to violence prevention and share valuable resources to support survivors. In addition, state and local organizations will provide information about their services and host engaging activities designed to help children understand the principles of safety and prevention.

The Town of Silver City Council is set to hold its Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 28, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center.
