Last week, The Hidalgo County Commission voted to return to in-person voting in the Rodeo, New Mexico District. Rodeo voters were switched to mail only ballots a few years ago while the system underwent upgrades to print ballots at the polls. The new system will allow poll workers to look up voters on site and print out their ballots, making it an easier process when going to vote in person. Those who still wish to vote by mail or absentee ballot are to contact the Hidalgo County Clerk’s Office at 575-542-9213.
