Animal Control of Silver City is launching a proactive initiative to promote rabies vaccinations in response to a recent increase in reported cases in neighboring counties. The ongoing drought has intensified wildlife movement as animals seek water sources, leading to a higher likelihood of interaction with the community. To safeguard both pets and residents, Animal Control aims to raise awareness and encourage timely vaccinations. For more information, contact Animal Control of Silver City at 575-388-8840.
