Senate Bill 21 was signed into law this week by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. The bill aims to codify in law that prescribed burns are prohibited on days when a Red Flag wind warning has been issued.
Area Kids Learn Cycling Skills with WNMU Kinesiology Faculty and Students. The WNMU Kinesiology Department is offering Kinesiology Kids Bike Club to area youth. The group rides on Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m. near the fountain at Regents Square on the WNMU campus. During each hour-long session Kinesiology students and faculty will teach children, ranging in age from 3-10 years, basic bicycle skills through fun and engaging drills. Interested parents and guardians may reach out to the WNMU Kinesiology department.

Congratulations is extended to the Hidalgo County 4-Hers for their successes at State. The Hidalgo County 4-H Pasture and Range Team placed second overall as a team. Team members consisted of Russel Haught, Case McSpadden, Francis Racicot, and Leo Kerr.
