UPDATE 11 am:
Bureau of Land Management officials report the 65-acre Treasure Mountain Fire is 80 percent contained. The fire is six miles northwest of Silver City, NM. There are no structures threatened. Some resources will be released from the incident today.
Firefighters remaining on the incident will continue reinforcing containment lines and mopping-up. This will be the last report on the Treasure Mountain Fire.

Firefighters remapped the Treasure Mountain Fire at 65 acres today. The fire is located on Bureau of Land Management land six miles northwest of Silver City, NM. The Treasure Mountain Fire is five percent contained with about 70 personnel assigned. There are no structures threatened.
Firefighters will continue the job of strengthening containment lines and mopping-up. Resources include two Hotshot crews and four engines. One minor injury was reported today. Smoke has diminished significantly.
