There will be a Battle of the Badges Blood Drive this weekend in Silver City with the United Blood Services-Rio Grande. Head out to Wal-Mart this Friday, Saturday and Sunday to donate on behalf of your favorite department and receive a Battle of the Badges T-shirt. The Battle of the Badges wages on between the Fire, Police, and Sheriff’s Departments.
Blood can be donated at Wal-Mart from 2 pm to 6 pm on Friday, the 26th, from 9 am to 2 pm on the 27th, and from 10 am to 2 pm on the 28th. For more information on how you can help save lives, call (575) 527-1322, or simply walk in to volunteer.
