The New Mexico Department of Transportation has issued an alert for I-25 north of Las Cruces. As of 6:30 this morning, the southbound lane between mile marker 21 and 22 had been closed due to a commercial vehicle incident. If you need to travel in this area, please check the NMDOT website at www.nmroads.com, or call 511 in the state of New Mexico.
Additional closures include NM-211 at mile marker 3 at Bear Creek in Gila and NM-159 in Mogollon between mile marker 10 and 25 due to debris in the roadway from flooding. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to avoid these routes until conditions change.
