Happy Memorial Day!
Today we celebrate Memorial Day. Originally called “Decoration Day”, Memorial Day is a national observance dedicated to honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have died in service to their country. It serves as a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for the sacrifices made to protect the country’s freedoms. Communities across the nation mark the day with ceremonies, flags placed at cemeteries, and moments of silence. All of us at Skywest Media/ Silver City Radio would like to thank all the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We appreciate your service to our country.
