Grab the family and head out to the Discover Hidalgo County fourth annual free event on Saturday, October 19th at the Hidalgo County Fairgrounds in Lordsburg from 10 am to 5 pm. Enjoy vendor booths, food, a variety show, a pet show, a Halloween Costume contest, inflatable activities, music all day by Mr B’s DJ and a car show from 10 to 4. Complete with trophies and drawings for prizes. There will be a special mariachi performance as well as a performance by Native American Dancers. Art from Hidalgo County artists and youth will be on display. A local person or couple will be honored as Hidalgo County’s Golden Oldies for their work in the community. Don’t miss this year’s free celebration of Discover Hidalgo County, Saturday October 19th, starting at 10 am at the Hidalgo County Fairgrounds in Lordsburg.
