The New Mexico Department of Health has reported technical issues preventing the update of the state online COVID-19 vaccination dashboard. The Department of Health is actively working to fix them as soon as possible.

In other New Mexico Department of Health news, a new website has been launched regarding its “Trusted Voices Campaign.” The site allows New Mexicans to share with the public their stores about how the COVID-19 pandemic and the now available vaccinations have impacted their lives and communities. The new “Trusted Voices” microsite allows individuals to record their own one-minute video that can be seen online and be heard by local news and radio outlets. According to a report from the Gila National Forest, the Drummond Fire located one mile south of Emory Pass on the Gila National Forest, Black Range Ranger District, is anticipated to remain active today and through the night due to single digit humidity, high temperatures, and strong winds. The fire is slowly and steadily moving, reaching 155 acres at the time of this report, but continues to remain inside the 2013 Silver Fire burn scar perimeter. Motorists travelling along Interstate 25 will likely see smoke and possible nighttime flames from fire activity on the Drummond Fire. The Johnson Fire located in Johnson Canyon, west of McKenna Park, 11 miles west of the Gila Cliff Dwellings in the Wilderness Ranger District, has reached a size of 13,417 acres at the time of this report. The objective for firefighters is to provide for public and firefighter safety and allow fire to play its natural role on the landscape. Values at risk are the White Creek Cabin and sensitive aquatic species in the Gila Wilderness. The public is asked to avoid certain trails in the area at this time and a map of these trails is available at sivercityradio.com.
