Western New Mexico University will be having a “Jingle and Mingle” event with music, entertainment, children’s crafts, seasonal treats and more. December 6th 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. WNMU Regent’s Square Free and open to the public

Santa Clara Christmas Parade

The Village of Santa Clara will be having their Lighted Holiday Parade with lights, decorations and more. December 7th 6:30 p.m. Parade starts at Fort Bayard Hospital Free and open to the public

Chicano Christmas Play

Over 60 community leaders will be coming together to perform a “Chicano Christmas”, which is a combination of Chicano theater that will take the audience to a time before and after the birth of Jesus. December 8th 2 p.m.-Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Fine Arts Theater on WNMU campus $5.00 per ticket

Meeting with Silver City Mayor

The Silver City Mayor will be having his monthly “Monday with the Mayor” meeting to discuss new and ongoing projects within the city. December 9th 8 to 11 a.m. Miller Library on WNMU campus Community is encouraged to attend

Hurley Santa Event

The Hurley Fire Department and the Hurley Town Council will be having a “Santa is Coming to Town” event with cookies, hot cocoa, letters to Santa and Santa Clause.  December 13th 4 p.m.-Santa will travel through streets of Hurley 4:45-Kids are invited to Hurley Fire Station to meet Santa
