Learn how to borrow e-books and downloadable audiobooks for free from the Silver City Public Library during a workshop on Thursday, April 13th from 10 am to noon. Come early to check the status of your library card, as it will be used to access New Mexico Library To-Go. Call 538-3672
Also at the Library on Thursday, there will be a special Easter Egg WildWorks Program for all ages. There will be egg dyeing kits to make some special Easter Eggs. Participants can bring their own hard-boiled eggs to dye or use those provided while supplies last. Call 538-3672
The Silver Consolidated School District will be closed for the Easter Holiday on Friday, April 14th. No classes will be held. The administration offices will also be closed. Regular schedules will resume on Monday, April 17th, 2017

The Silver City Museum will hold a Hands-On Victorian Easter Egg Diorama Activity on Saturday, April 15th from 10:30 to noon. Come make a miniature Easter diorama using plastic Easter Eggs, ribbons, flowers, and pictures. Call 538-9521

The 31st Annual Tour of the Gila will be held April 19th through April 23rd. The Silver City to Mogollon race will begin on Wednesday, followed by the Inner Loop race on Thursday and the Tyrone Individual Time Trials on Friday.
