Native Air, an air medical transport base located in Silver City is holding their annual “Soaring for School Supplies” event this Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M at the Silver City Walmart. Donated supplies will benefit children in area and surrounding communities.
Western Sky Community Care is having a school supply drive for the Silver and Cobre Consolidated School Districts. Come out to Walmart in Silver City on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. to donate school supplies. Western Sky Community Care will be donating 100 backpacks and matching donated school supplies.
Silver FFA is having their Annual Hatch Green Chile Sale August 16th through 18th from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. There will be over 10,000 pounds of Sandia Hot and Big Jim Medium Chile will be available at the dirt lot across form the Silver City Walmart. All proceeds to benefit Silver FFA student programs.
