The Grant County Shriner’s Spaghetti Dinner 2016 fundraiser will be held at the Silver City Masonic Lodge, 11 Ridge Road, on April 3rd from 11 am to 2 pm. On October 24th at 7 pm, “Mark Twain,” portrayed by Jefferson H. Jordan Jr, will present a one man show at the Silver City Masonic Lodge #8. A meet and greet with the artist will follow the presentation, along with refreshments. This event is free, but donations for local veterans will be accepted. Call 538-8561
The Silver City Masonic Lodge #8 Annual Indoor Chili Con Carne Cook-Off will be held March 7th. The application fee is $10 for contestants and $5 for judges. Plan to bring a good appetite to sample some of the best Chili Silver City has to offer. Call 538-3561
