There is a Student Art Reception at the Deming Arts Center located at 100 South Gold Street in Deming on Sunday, February 2nd from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. The public is invited to attend.
The Deming Quilting Bees Club will be teaching beginning sewing classes for adults and children on the third Saturday of each month starting on January 19th at the Deming Art Center located at 100 S. “Braceros – Melding History and Art” will open in downtown Deming on Saturday, January 6th. The exhibit was the inspiration of sculptor Diana LeMarbe of Deming. The Deming Arts Council and Keep Luna County Beautiful will be hosting the annual “Recycle Show” for artists of all ages. Projects need to be made from 90% recycled items. The intake day is Tuesday, November 1st from 10 to 1. The award ceremony will be held November 6th from 1-3 pm. Call 546-3663
