The Luna Pioneer Rodeo, acclaimed as *The Best Little Rodeo in the West* is July 27th!

This rodeo tradition that has been running for over sixty years continues this month, and opens with Slack Barrel Racing at 9 am, with a parade at ten. Slack Team Roping picks up again at 11 am.  Afterwards, enjoy a country Barbeque lunch at the Luna Community Center from 11 to 1. Full-fledged Rodeo action begins after lunch with all the events like Bull Riding, Saddlebronc and Bareback Riders, Wild Cow Ride and fun for the kids, too, like mutton busting.  Then kick up your heels at a western dance!
