The 5th annual Rope for Hope will be held at the Baird Arena in Cliff this weekend, October 26th and 27th.  Barrel Racing will be held on Saturday using a 4D format with time-only at 11:30 and races beginning at 2 pm.  Team Roping will be on Sunday: enter at 9 am, rope at 10.  There will be a silent auction and raffle of a beatiful metal bench and a Shoofly print.  The Pink Queen Contest will also be held on Saturday, with Best Pink on a Guy following on Sunday.  Billy Ray McCauley’s famous Barbecue plates will be available to eat on site or carry out.

All proceeds from this event benefit cancer patients at Gila Regional Medical Center for residents of Grant, Luna, Hidalgo, and Catron Counties who have financial needs due to their cancer treatment.  Even if you aren’t able to come out to see or participate in the event, your donation on line can do so much. Just think if just 2000 people each gave five dollars, $10,000 could be raised. Each little bit makes a difference. Your donation makes a difference.  For more information, to participate, or to make a donation, visit rope4hope.org.
