The Kiwanis Club of Silver City announces the Student of the Month for January, 2014. Students received a special luncheon in their honor last week at the regular meeting at the Red Barn. The following students were named into the Student of the Month for January:

Cobre High School: Luke Montoya
La Plata Middle School: Nathan Shelley
Opportunity High School: Sergio Lucero
Snell Middle School: Brianna Martinez
Silver High School: Elida Ortiz
