The Southwest Word Fiesta and Western New Mexico University’s Miller Library, 1000 W. College Street, will offer an evening event on Thursday, April 21st from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m., celebrating the lives of Ukrainian writers from past to present. The presentation includes a brief history of Ukrainian literature and the arts followed by selected readings from works of Ukrainian authors voiced by Dr. Gilda Baeza-Ortego, Kris Neri, Ted Presler, JJ Wilson, Bart Roselli, Catalina Claussen, and others. This event is free and open to the public. Come join them for a fascinating study of this country’s finest artists.
