The Kiwanis Club of Silver City is hosting their first ever “Free Drive-thru Kids Easter Eggstravaganza” on Saturday, April 3rd from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon at the Grant County Veterans Memorial Business & Conference Center – 3031 Hwy 180 E. (next to Ace Hardware). Gather up the kids and drive-thru for one free Easter Goodie Bag per child in the vehicle, while supplies last. Wave to the Easter Bunny and “Friends” that include local favorites: Darren & Dora the D.A.R.E Lions, Scruff McGruff the Crime Dog, Rawhide the WNMU Mustang, Sparky the Fire Dog, , and of course, Smokey Bear! For your safety and convenience, this is strictly a Drive-thru event, please try to enter from the 32nd Street Bypass Road location.
