La Casa Inc. in Deming will be having their annual Candlelight Vigil in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. October 24th  6 to 7:30 p.m. Luna County Courthouse Luminaries and resources will be provided

The New Mexico Wildlife Federation along with Luna County, City of Deming and Play Sharity will be having a free kids fishing day with activities and prizes. October 26th 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Trees Lake in Deming

The Silver City Police Department and La Plata Middle School will be having their annual Trunk or Treat. October 31st 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. La Plata Middle School

Deming Mainstreet will be having a free Trunk or Treat for all ages. October 31st  6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Downtown Deming-Beginning at Gold Street
