The Matney Family presents Music in the Park at Glenwood Park, 1 mile east of Glenwood on Catwalk Road, on August 15th beginning at 11 am. The Bridge Community will hold an Early Sunday Supper fundraiser on August 16th at 4 pm at the First United Methodist Church. The indoor picnic will feature pulled pork with entertainment provided by Toni and Rick Spiegel. Funds benefit the Bridge Community continuum of care senior living facility project
The Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue will hold their 6th Anniversary Tex-Mex Fundraiser on September 6th from noon to 6 at the Ranch, 27 Twin Sisters Creek Road. The barbecue will feature entertainment by the Illusion Band. Funds help offset costs of housing, feeding and medical care for rescued dogs. Call 313-7232
The Cliff School’s staff will hold their annual Fall Festival on October 22nd in the old Cliff School gymnasium beginning at 6 pm. Events include bingo, a cakewalk, basketball throw, fishpond, and more. Food and beverages will also be available. Call 535-2051
On October 24th at 7 pm, “Mark Twain,” portrayed by Jefferson H. Jordan Jr, will present a one man show at the Silver City Masonic Lodge #8. A meet and greet with the artist will follow the presentation, along with refreshments. This event is free, but donations for local veterans will be accepted. Call 538-8561
The High Lo Silvers will present their Holiday Concert and Sing-a-long at the First Presbyterian Church, 1915 North Swan Street, on December 11th at 7 pm, and December 13th at 3 pm. Concerts are free, but donations are accepted to purchase new music
The Mimbres Region Arts Council Black Tie Benefit Ball will be held December 12th at 7 pm in the Lawley Toyota Showroom. Enjoy dancing, a full Thai dinner and a cash bar, plus music by Baracutanga. Tickets are available at the Arts Council office. Call 538-2505
The Marshall Memorial Library will be doing a Parent & Grandparent Bingo for Books on December 17th at 2 pm. This is an adult Bingo but with kids’ books. These will make great Christmas Gifts. Call 546-9202
