DESCRIPTION:The Gila National Forest will waive fees at the Catwalk National Recreation Trail/Whitewater Picnic Area (day use recreation site) on National Public Lands Day\, this Saturday\, September 26th. National Public Lands Day traditionally celebrates volunteer work on public lands and the opportunity to connect to nature. The Forest Service participates in fee-free days with other federal agencies to commemorate holidays and encourage Americans to visit their public lands. The final fee-free day for 2020 will be November 11\, Veterans Day.
