On Sunday\, July 4th\, there is Roping at the Arena starting at 9:30 A.M.\, the “God Bless America Parade” on Highway 180 at 5:00 P.M\, followed by music provided by DJ Divine at 6:00 P.M. and Fireworks at dusk.

DESCRIPTION:The Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2021 Independence Day Parade and Freedom Festival at Gough Park on Saturday\, July 3rd with the theme “Honoring Our Heroes.” There is a “Flag Raising Ceremony” in Gough Park at 9:00 A.M. in addition to traditional festivities\, vendors\, and the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast that begins at 8:00 A.M.  The Annual Independence Day Parade starts at 10:00 A.M. on 12 Street and Pope to finish at the Grant County County Courthouse on Broadway. The Silver City Museum will be hosting a modified Ice Cream Social and several locations in Downtown Mainstreet will be featuring live music into the night.
