The High Desert Gun Show will be held March 11th and 12th – Saturday from 9 to 5, and Sunday 9 to 3, at the Grant County Veteran’s Memorial Conference Center. Admission is $4 for adults and children under 12 get in free. Food available by Wranglers 4-H Club
The Humane Society will be holding its monthly reduce rate rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, March 11th from 9 am to noon at the High Desert Humane Society located at 3050 South Cougar Way. State and local ordinances require rabies vaccinations for all dogs and cats over the age of 3 months. Call 538-9261
The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale will be held on Saturday, March 11th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Friends of the Library Bookstore, 1510 Market Street. The event will also feature special displays on poetry, collectible books, and displays for books in more than thirty different categories
Films from the Las Cruces International Film Festival will be shown at the Silco Theater and at WNMU light Hall on Sunday, March 12th, as part of the Silver Screen Festival. There will also be a reception in the evening at the President’s residence. The public is invited to attend, but tickets are limited
