The Taste of Downtown will be held September 3rd in Downtown Silver City from noon to 3 pm, with a pie contest at 11 am. Tastes will be available from 14 locations. Tickets are available at the Mainstreet Ticket Booth the Day of the Event. Proceeds benefit the Silver City MainStreet Project

The Humane Society will hold its monthly reduce rate rabies vaccination clinic of September 10th from 9 am to noon at the High Desert Humane Society.
