The Silver City Museum will hold it’s annual Ice Cream Social on July 4th from 11 am to 4 pm. Popcorn, ice cream, and root beer floats of the treats of the day. Other highlights include the cake walk, historic games, mini train ride, and music. Admission is free. Call 538-5921

The Silver City Fiber Arts Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, July 17th and 18th from 10 am to 5 pm at the Grant County Business and Conference Center. The festival will feature 30 juried vendors, 17 special exhibits, and 13 classes, workshops, and more. Call 535-2613
Silver High Volleyball will host their 9th annual 4 on 4 grass volleyball tournament on Saturday, July 18th at Fox Field. Games begin at 9 am. Teams are allowed between 4 and 7 players, and co-ed teams are allowed. The registration fee is $10 per person. Call 313-3119 to register
There will be a motorcycle ride to raise food and show patriotism for veterans on July 18th. The ride begins at Gough Park at 10 am and will go out to Mimbres and back. The cost is $5 per bike or $10 per car plus 4 cans of food per passenger. Proceeds benefit local veterans. [...]
