Glenwood’s Independence Celebration and Fireworks Extravaganza will be held July 1st and 2nd beginning at 9:30 on Saturday and concluding with fireworks on Sunday at dark. Events include live music and dancing, a Doo Dah Parade, Cowbelles BBQ, and more
The Silver City Museum will host its 34th Annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 1st from 11 am to 4 pm. The Social is held in conjunction with the City’s Fourth of July Parade and features a cakewalk, historic children’s games, ice cream cones, root beer floats, and more. Call 538-5921

The Humane Society will hold its monthly reduce rate rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, July 8th from 9 am to noon at the High Desert Humane Society, 3050 South Cougar Way.
