DESCRIPTION:Catron County is hosting the states very first Wildfire Preparedness Fair. We will have information for home owners on how to prepare for the wildfire season to make their home fire safe. They will have multiple vendors attending to include US Forest Service\, State Forestry\, State Police\, NM State Fire Marshals\, NMFPA\, Catron County Fire\, Local Law Enforcement. The fair is to prepare home owners and citizens in the event of a wildfire. Things that will be discussed Fire prevention\, Preparing a home for wild fire season\, Preparing for evacuation\, and getting familiar with our local agencies. There will be lots of handouts.
